What Christ means to me.

Jesus Christ has become my greatest friend, my strength, and my everything! He lifts me up when I am in my darkest hours. He gives me hope when I don't feel like there is hope to be found. He never leaves me comfortless but instead fills my soul with peace. He gives me reason to work hard, to strive to become all that I can be, to become the daughter of God that I know I am. He plants joy deep within my heart and helps me to become like him, for he is the greatest example of all. Jesus Christ has made it possible for me to live with my family for all eternity. He has presented and fulfilled a way through his atonement and resurrection for me to one day live with him and my Father in Heaven. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I know that he lives! He loves everyone of us! And I know because I have witnessed it in my own life, that he will never leave us alone, but instead with unconditional and glorious love he walks hand in hand with us to make sure we will safely make it home again once more! "John 14: 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." Let us each remember our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ and allow his love to fill our hearts as we ponder the gift of his resurrection and glory in the joy that he lives!

Faith

I've been learning a specific thing in my life lately.  The other night as I lay in bed with my sweet husband, I opened my scriptures to read Ether 12 which is a book within the Book of Mormon.  Within this chapter it discusses Faith.  It talks about how faith is things which are hoped for and not seen.  As I read a few verses the impression came me that if we have faith we will be happy.  That if we could live every day of our lives having Faith, we would always see the good in life and be happy.  Even through the trails we may be facing.  

We must learn to enjoy now.  Because as people we always look forward to the next thing and then miss the moments we have then and then once we hit that next big step, we find joy for a small moment( may be large amounts of joy) but then a trail hits and you either want to go back to what you had or move to the next thing thinking it'll make you  happier.  Each period of life has large moments of happiness and times of sorrow, sadness, pain, and suffering but I am learning that if we have faith in those hard moments we will find more joy in our lives even when we pass through the battles of life.   Each day as we record the good, we will notice that we are blessed and that life is better than it seems.  

It is so important to live for the now.  To be happy in the moment.  To find joy in each moment of each day.   Faith is something that if you have it it will help find joy.  You will always feel happy when you have faith.  Life will go better.  You will see the blessings. It will then make you happy and fulfilled.  You will succeed in the day to day if you have faith.

LIVE IN THE MOMENT AND HAVE FAITH THAT ALL WILL FALL INTO PLACE 

Sweet Surprises

This morning was spent by waking to a sweet surprise of my adorable husband still sleeping next to me.  He didn't have school today and so we got to spend the morning together.  No better way to start the day.  

I cleaned the house like a mad woman and pushed through the pain.  But boy did our home look great!  

After about a month I did my first haircut with a sweet girl and it turned out fabulous!  We cut some new bangs and gave her a cute new do.  It was a success for sure!  

Daniel came home and wanted to use one of our gift cards to take me out to dinner.  We went to Cafe Rio and had a yummy dinner together.  

Searched for our missing camera that holds the memory card of our Honeymoon pictures...We have not found it yet.  But the search will not end till we do.  

Finished the night by watching Sweet Genius!  We LOVE this show.  It is so great what people can do with food/ inspiration.  I love it!

Joy of Living

Woke up today hearing the giggles of little children playing outside my bedroom window.  I love the sounds of Spring. Children's laughter.  Birds singing little melodies.  Bells chiming as the wind softly pushes them along.  I can feel the warmth coming through the apartment that suddenly in my minds means the sun is shining.  Another beautiful day has just begun!  

Finally got our Wedding Pictures!!

Our wedding day was such a beautiful and special day for us!  We hold it near to our hearts each day as we remember the biggest blessing of it all that we were able to be sealed for time and all eternity and start an eternal family. Thank you to everyone who was able to join us on our special day!
