Homemade Strawberry Sorbet

Homemade Strawberry Sorbet= Delicious and Easy!

Ingredients:

2.5 cups frozen strawberries

1/3 cup orange juice concentrate 

1/3 cup sprite

1/2 tsp sugar

Directions:

Blend everything until smooth.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my food processor!!!  We got it as a wedding gift and it's the best!  I have been using it to make so many things! And healthy things! For example, today I felt like making a chicken salad sandwich, so I threw in the celery, apples, and pecans into my food processor to add a little extra flavor to my sandwich in a small form.  Love it!

Here is a tip to using your fruits and veggies and not having them go to waste.

  *Cut them up after getting home from the grocery store into smaller bite size pieces that you can snack on whenever you want.  They are also ready to go this way when you are ready to add them to a meal!

Sweet Sucker Smells.

Each and every day my sweet husband comes home with the smell of sucker on him!  He is currently working at a sucker/candy company here in Provo while we are here for school.  I have come to love the smell as it reminds me of how hard working he is, how dedicated to work he is, and how he creates some rockin delicious suckers!  

Thanks for working hard for our family babes!!!  (He even made all these for our wedding!) 

Memory* It reminds me of how my mom always told me of how my dad would come home from working at the cheese factory when they were younger and she'd make my dad take off his cheese smelling clothes before coming in the house! ha.  Too great!  

My mother, My friend, My example.

My mother is the woman who I want to emulate.  She radiates sunshine and love!  Cheers you up when you're feeling sad.  Helps you remember that you're always strong enough and never lets you give up.  She makes you laugh through her silly jokes and great sense of humor. A mother who stays up worrying, praying, and thinking over you. She always is giving and serving others!  Has a million tasks going at once but still makes time to let you know you're important.  She is a great cook, seamstress,musician, and pretty much everything she does she is good at!  She is a woman who walks as an example of our Savior.  My mom spends countless hours teaching her children the ways of God.  Always reminding us of our worth.  My mother is a mother that her Heavenly Father is proud of!  

I love you mom!  You mean everything to me and I hope you know that as I grow older I realize even more how amazing you are and always have been.  Thanks for being such a great example to me in every aspect of life!  Always remember that you are the very best there is!  I am proud of you for the woman you continue to become.  A woman who I want to emulate!
